2/5/16

Our second night on the UK. The first night was on the plane. We had a 14.5hrs to Dubai where we had a 2hr stop over. This plane was packed, big and cramped. I slept some of the time .Food: They forgot to give us breakfast and we had to ask for it. We had Tomato quiche. I got sick and I thought I was going to vomit just before landing. The hostess gave me some stomach soothers and it went away. There were no snacks and we did not get the menu snacks. They had lost of snacks at dinner time such as little biscuits and chocolates. The seats were a bit uncomfortable and I got a numb bum. I kept getting up and walking around to get some circulation. Movies: The dress maker, Zoolander 2,But we made it on time and the airport was huge. I think it was a bit dear.

On the next plane. Food: Fruit pieces, cheese and other little bits and piece. Dinner was delicious. Chicken with mash and beans, Movies: No Escape, We had no seats in front of us which gave us a bit of log room. This flight was 7.5hrs long and it was late. Our bags were the last off and we were at terminal 3.This flight was a lot better maybe because it was ½ the time. The next bus left from terminal 5 and we missed it I was extremely tired by this time and it cost us an extra 15 pound to change it.I had to talk to the person at the desk as Mark was getting argumentative so I told him to leave the area and I will deal with it. So we had to wait for 1.4 hours until the next one. I tried me first tea. Their tea is delicious.

The bus trip down was good and then walk to the Holiday inn was about a 10 min walk .I ordered breakfast and room service for dinner. Bye time I had a shower and got in my PJs dinner was being served in bed. I then fell asleep .It was about 630pmI then woke up at about 1230am and could not get back to sleep. I was hungry. Mark woke up as well so we did Southampton on our Rockin all over the world tour.

Finally fell back to sleep at about 330 and Mark set his alarm for 730 and I was ready to crown him but i didn’t .Breakfast was delicious I had sausages, hashbrowns, tomato, yoghurt and a chocolate pastry. Bruce and Sandra came and we went to find where to drop their car off and we got lost and then we got lost and then we got lost and then we asked for some directions and it was just at the back of the Holiday Inn.

We all then walked to the Dock and boarded the ship. We did the boarding procedure and all that jazz.

The Britannia is only a year old. It’s nice and new. I am impressed about the clients as there are not many obese wheel chair people on it.

Whilst the ship was taking off Mark and I went to deck 16 and had a cocktail. This port is ugly. It is very industrial and looked like Port Kembla. I had some tomato soup and then came back to the room and Mark was asleep. Bruce rung and we were asleep and we so we didn’t get any dinner.

3/5/16

It is 230am and I have woken up and can get back to sleep. Mark is snoring his head off and I have already watched a movie and tried to find something to eat. I must have missed out as the restaurant closes at 2am. I can’t find the remote for the TV.
